Days 1 Taru Villas, Bentota

You will be meet at the Airport and transferred to the celebrated Taru Villas in Bentota - a spectacular riverside, boutique hotel. Undeniably, it is one of the most beautiful properties in Sri Lanka and is set amidst 7 acres of lush land on the Madhu estuary.  It offers a serene setting for deep relaxation and indulgence. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and plunge tubs / pool in most of its suites.   Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 2 Taru Villa, Bentota

Early on your first morning, you will leave by boat towards the South Coast.  Your experienced guide will help add to the overall enjoyment of the fishing trip. Safety equipment such as jackets and fishing equipment including rods are supplied, if required, as well as bait.  With a shoreline of 1,140 miles and a continental shelf of 10,000 square miles, the seas around Sri Lanka have an unlimited fishing potential hardly exploited.  Trolling over the continental shelf yields catches of tuna, skipjack, yellow fin and blue fin, the acrobatic dolphin, swordfish, sailfish and marlin which attain a size to provide a challenge to the best big game fishermen. The broadbill swordfish is found in deeper waters and reach a length of 15ft and a weight of well over 1,000lb. Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 3 Amanwella Hotel, Tangalle

Early morning, you leave for a second day deep sea fishing at a different location off the south coast.  At the end of the day, you check in to a suite at the Amanwella Hotel, Tangalle.  In the evening, you will be able to watch the well known, traditional Stilt Fishermen. Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 4 Mandara Rosen Hotel, Tissamaharama

Early morning, you leave for another day deep sea fishing at a different location off the south coast.  At the end of the day, you check in to the Mandara Rosen Hotel, Tissamaharama.  Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 5 The Hill Club, Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, you will leave for Nuwara Eliya in the Hill Country - 1890 metres above sea level.  En route, visit the rubber plantations, pottery industries and the mountainous scenery, tea plantations and the Rawana Ella Falls.  On arrival in "Little England" - you will enjoy some sight seeing.  Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 6 Kandy House, Kandy

After breakfast, you leave for the Horton Plains - Sri Lanka’s highest and most isolated plateau and the only National Park situated in the Hill Country.   Here you will see World's End - a sheer drop of 1050 metres.  From World's End, you travel on to Kandy the Hill Country capital, visiting a Tea Plantation and Factory on the way.  At the end of the day, you will retreat to the Kandy House, a unique and luxurious Sri Lankan Manor House providing seclusion and serenity in a tropical garden setting about 20 minutes from Kandy.  Personal attention to detail and superb food are the up most priorities at this boutique hotel.  Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 7 Kandy 

After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Kandy including Upper Lake Drive and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha.  After a little time for some shopping, you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight home.
