Wife Carrying Contest

This year Singleton, Australia will hold the first heats of the 15th Annual Wife Carrying Contest!

If you can't make this, there will be lots of further opportunities worldwide to enter one of the subsequent heats before the finals in Finland in July. Apparently, any woman will do as there is nothing in the rules to say you have to be married......You just have to find a woman who is willing to be bumped around a 240 metre obstacle course featuring hurdles to go over and under, sand and water.
